fact card
In short: A fact card is the verified set of facts about a brand (prices, address, phone, hours, key product details) that Seoptist compares against AI answers to detect inaccuracies.
A fact card is a short, structured record of the things about your business that must be stated correctly: trading name and aliases, address, phone number, opening hours, service area, headline prices or pricing model, and any product specifications or accreditations that customers rely on. It is the reference copy of the truth.
Seoptist uses the fact card in two places. During the audit it compares your own pages and structured data against the card and flags contradictions, for example a price on a service page that differs from the one in your FAQ. During analysis of AI answers it compares the claims an engine makes about you (price, address, phone, product feature) with the card. A mismatch creates an accuracy issue and, on the Growth plan and above, triggers an alert.
That second use is what makes the card valuable. Assistants do get facts wrong, usually because a third-party source is stale, and a business rarely finds out until a customer turns up at the wrong address or quotes a price from 2023. The alert tells you which engine said what, so you can trace the source and correct it.
Keep the card current. When a price or phone number changes, update the card the same day you update the website, so that alerts reflect reality rather than history.
