Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Seoptist, provided by Handy & Must Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE (“Seoptist”, “we”). By creating an account or using the free AI Visibility Check you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Seoptist is a software platform that measures how AI assistants and search engines present your business, audits websites you control or are authorised to audit, and provides recommendations. We are not an agency and do not implement changes on your website unless separately agreed in writing. Recommendations are provided in good faith; results depend on factors outside our control, including the behaviour of third-party AI and search providers.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

  • You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your login credentials and for your team members.
  • You may only add domains you own or are authorised to audit and monitor.
  • You must not use the service to break the law, infringe rights, send spam, probe or overload our systems, reverse engineer the platform, or resell it except under the white-label features of an Agency or Enterprise plan.
  • We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or threaten the security or integrity of the service.

3. Free trial and free check

Paid plans begin with a 14-day free trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial and will not be charged. The free AI Visibility Check is limited per email address and IP address and is provided as-is for evaluation purposes.

4. Fees and billing

  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling and exclude VAT, which is added where applicable. Current prices are on the pricing page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically monthly or annually until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal.
  • Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

5. Data

You retain ownership of the data you submit and the results generated for your account. You grant us a licence to process it to provide the service. We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, and we will enter into a data processing agreement with business customers on request.

6. Third-party providers

AI visibility data is obtained from official APIs and licensed data providers. We never scrape consumer AI interfaces and we do not guarantee the continued availability of any particular engine. If a provider withdraws access we will use reasonable efforts to substitute an equivalent source.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, its design, software and content are owned by Handy & Must Ltd or its licensors. White-label features let you present reports under your own brand but do not transfer ownership of the platform.

8. Availability and support

We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime excluding scheduled maintenance. Support is provided by email during UK business hours; Agency and Enterprise plans include priority support. Enterprise customers may agree a separate service level agreement.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue or data, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

10. Termination

You may cancel at any time from the billing page. We may terminate for material breach with notice. On termination you may export your data for 30 days, after which it is deleted.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is unenforceable the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Questions: [email protected].
