What this means
Enter mention counts to see your share of voice. Counts are how many AI answers named each brand over a period, for example 30 prompts × 3 samples a week.
Formula: SoV = your mentions ÷ (your mentions + all competitor mentions). Seoptist computes this weekly from three samples per prompt.
How to use it
- Pick a set of prompts customers would ask, for example 'best emergency plumber in Leeds'.
- Ask each engine and count how many answers name each brand.
- Enter the counts per engine; add up to five competitors.
- Read the share of voice and the per-engine gaps, then look at who the engines cite instead of you.

What is AI share of voice?
Your brand's mentions divided by the total mentions of you and your competitors across the same AI answers. 100% means you are the only brand named; 0% means you never appear.
How many answers should I count?
